A téma rövid leírása, a kidolgozandó feladat részletezése:
Overview: It was revealed that economic activity is to be carried out such that it is in harmony with
earth’s ecosystem, where the sustainability of engineering products is not a choice anymore, but a
demand. Self-compacting high performance concrete is defined as a new generation of concretes on
the basis of the concepts of self-compacting concrete (SCC) and of high performance concrete
(HPC). Therefore, it possesses the adequate self-compactability (filling ability, passing ability and
segregation resistance) and the high strength and good durability of the HPC. The green version of
this kind of concrete could be achieved by replacing specific amount of its ingredients by waste
materials.
Aim and objectives: The main aim of the present study is to optimize green self-compacting high-
performance concrete (GSCHPC) by analyzing the effect of using recycled concrete aggregate (RA)
instead of coarse natural aggregate (NA) and waste powder materials instead of cement on its fresh
and hardened properties. It is going to be as an attempt to rise with the concept of sustainability by
minimizing the concrete impact on the environment, and maximizing its performance and service
life. But to reach that level of turning the non-renewable resource into a renewable one at least
partially. To do so, RA and three different waste powder materials (raw materials without any process
or modification) have been chosen for the study, those three waste powder materials are: a)
Unprocessed waste fly ash (UWFA), b) Waste perlite powder (WPP) c) Waster cellular concrete
powder (WCCP).
Several laboratory experiments were planned to be carried out on produced concretes, thus, all
properties which were directly interconnected to the concretes macro/microstructure could be
determined to introduce a comprehensive overview with regard to the challenges and possibilities of
the new GSCHPC. This can be optimized for various purposes such as using the highest possible
waste powder materials and RA content, and obtain the highest performance-cost ratio.
