The educational objective of the specialization is to enable students to deepen and expand the knowledge they acquired during their bachelor's studies in the field of structural engineering, thereby becoming qualified to perform high-level design, expert consulting, and research tasks.

A fundamental objective is that students completing the specialization, by delving into one of the taught subject areas, can independently solve a problem related to structural engineering. Furthermore, they must master the methods of literature review and knowledge systematization, comprehensive problem-solving, as well as the methodologies of expert consultancy and research and development.
