The Faculty Council is one of the most important collegiate governing bodies of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. It participates in the leadership of the Faculty together with the Dean and is primarily responsible for strategic, managerial, and decision-making functions. Among its roles, the Faculty Council discusses and adopts major proposals concerning the operation of the Faculty, determines the Faculty’s annual work plan and meeting schedule, and, through its committees, prepares academic, scientific, and financial decisions. In addition, resolutions of the Faculty Council constitute part of the legal instruments governing the operation of the Faculty; accordingly, the body directly shapes both the regulatory framework and the functioning of the Faculty.
