BSc programs

BME Faculty of Civil Engineering runs only from the fall semester BSc in Civil Engineering.

There is an entrance exam in our BSc program, a written exam: maths and physics.

MSc programs

BME Faculty of Civil Engineering recently runs MSc in Structural Engineering, Construction Information Technology Engineering, Infrastructural Engineering and Land Surveying and Geographical Information Systems Engineering programs.

BME Faculty of Civil Engineering starts only in the fall semester MSc in Construction Information Technology Engineering and Land Surveying and Geographical Information Systems Engineering programs. But the other 2 programmes start both in the fall and spring semesters.

There is an entrance exam in our MSc program, written exam: maths, physics, and oral discussion. On the oral exam, language skills and motivation are examined.

Necessary language skills

You must also prove your English language skills by a TOEFL or IELTS or equivalent language certificate min B2 level (TOEFL IBT min 72 points, IELTS min 5.0 points).
Apart from IELTS/TOEFL there are three options:
1) If the language of instruction of the previous studies was English (at least one year long), a certificate is needed (containing that the language of the instructions was English).
2) you submit another language proficiency certificate; we accept the following types (with these indicated minimum points):
  • IELTS min. 5.0
  • Cambridge B2 First (FCE) min. 160
  • TOEFL iBT min. 72
  • Trinity Integrated Skills In English (ISE) min. ISE II
  • TOEIC Listening min. 400 / Reading min. 385
  • TOEIC Speaking min. 160 / Writing min. 150
  • Pearson Academic (PTE) min. 29
  • Duolingo min. 115
3) Submitting the existing language certificate and writing an online English language test
