Upon completion of an MSc program and possession of the corresponding university degree, students also have the opportunity to participate in a 2+2-year doctoral program. The doctoral program is intended to facilitate the attainment of a PhD degree. At the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the doctoral program is organized by the Vásárhelyi Pál Doctoral School of Civil Engineering and Earth Sciences. During the doctoral program, PhD students primarily engage in scientific research under the supervision of their supervisor, while also attending doctoral courses and participating in the teaching activities of their department, with the aim of preparing for the PhD degree procedure through the publication of their research results.
