Construction Information Technology Engineering MSc

The objective of the program is to train construction information technology engineers who, upon acquiring the appropriate practical experience, are capable of independently performing IT, building information, as well as civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and IT engineering technical development, management, and project management tasks related to the built environment and facilities, utilizing modern IT systems. Furthermore, they are capable of designing, establishing, and providing expert consulting for the information systems of complex and specialized engineering facilities. Graduates of the program are prepared to continue their studies in a doctoral (PhD) program.

The mission of the specialization is to train engineers who are capable of comprehending and developing construction industry workflows, along with the digitalization technologies and procedures that support them. The construction industry is less digitalized than average, thus holding tremendous development potential. Engineers can manage the multidisciplinary problems associated with complex construction activities almost exclusively through IT tools and solutions. This requires the acquisition of a complex body of knowledge and its synthesized, skill-level application.
