The aim of the program is educating Construction Information Technology Engineers that – after practical training – are able to solve IT, development, controlling, and project management tasks related to the built environment in the fields of building information modeling, civil engineering, architectural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and informatics. The graduates are prepared to continue their studies in a PhD program. The Faculty offers the program from 2022 fall.

The Faculty offers an MSc program in Land Surveying and Geographical Information Systems Engineering with a duration of 1.5 years. The program provides advanced knowledge of geoinformatics, IT technologies, cutting edge mapping and localisation techniques, geophysics, and adjustment calculations. This program is useful for research-oriented students pursuing a doctoral degree in a PhD program, as well as for the next generation of practicing leading engineers who will solve special land surveying and geoinformatics problems and innovate construction procedures.

The Faculty offers an MSc program in Infrastructure Engineering with a duration of 1.5 years. The program has 2 specializations: Specialization in Highway and Railway Engineering and Specialization in Water and Hydro-Environmental Engineering. Specialization in Highway and Railway Engineering provides advanced knowledge of transportation networks, highway and railway structures and design, intelligent transportation systems, economic and management aspects of transportation. The main goal of Specialization in Water and Hydro-Environmental Engineering is to provide enhanced knowledge and skills in the fields of water and wastewater treatment, modeling of hydrosystems, hydromorphology, hydroinformatics, ecology, and water quality monitoring.

This diploma is equivalent to a “Máster en Formación Permanente” (Spain), “Diplôme d’établissement” (France), and an official qualification as an “Infrastructure and Urban System Information Technology Engineer” (Hungary). The Faculty offers an MSc programme in Structural Engineering with a duration of 1.5 years. The MSc programme has three specializations: Specialization in Numerical Modelling, Specialization in Structures, and Specialization in Geotechnics and Geology. Specialization in Numerical Modelling provides advanced knowledge of structural analysis using contemporary computer techniques, including the theoretical background of the methods. Specialization in Structures provides thorough knowledge in structural design, skills enabling to carry out independent project coordination and to execute special design, construction and development procedures.
